A membership can be cancelled by your staff from the dashboard, or by the member from the Dyno app. Both follow the cancel policy set on the member's pricing plan. Only staff can override it.

Click **Keep** to close the dialog without changing anything.

If you did not tick **Cancel immediately**, the plan's cancel policy decides when the membership ends:

If the end date is in the future, you see "Cancellation scheduled" with the date access ends. The member keeps their membership until that date, then gets a "Membership Ended" notification.

If you tick **Cancel immediately**, the membership ends today whatever the policy or commitment says. No further charges are made.

Cancelling never refunds anything, even when it ends the membership today. To give money back, [issue a refund](/articles/issue-a-refund) separately.

Cancelling does not remove the member's existing class bookings. Remove those yourself if they should not attend.

Members cancel from their membership in the Dyno app. They cannot skip your plan's cancel policy, notice period or minimum commitment, and the app shows them the end date and any charges still to come before they confirm.

A member can undo a cancellation they made themselves, up until the end date. They cannot undo one your club made.

What happens when staff cancel a member's membership, and what happens when a member cancels from the app.

A membership can be cancelled by your staff from the dashboard, or by the member from the Dyno app. Both follow the cancel policy set on the member's pricing plan. Only staff can override it. If the member only needs a break, pause the membership instead. Cancel a member's membership (staff) Open Members and click the member. Click Cancel Membership. To follow the plan's cancel policy, click Cancel Membership. To end it today instead, tick Cancel immediately, then click Cancel immediately. Click Keep to close the dialog without changing anything. What happens next If you did not tick Cancel immediately, the plan's cancel policy decides when the membership ends: End of term, or no policy chosen: the member keeps access until the end of the period they have paid for. They are not charged again. Anytime: the membership ends now. Notice days: the membership ends that many days from today. A renewal that falls inside the notice period is still charged. Minimum commitment still running: the cancellation is set for the end of the commitment, or the end of the notice period if that is later. The member keeps paying until then. Time spent paused does not count towards the commitment. Free plan (price 0): ends now, whatever the policy. Comp membership: ends now. There is nothing to stop billing. If the end date is in the future, you see "Cancellation scheduled" with the date access ends. The member keeps their membership until that date, then gets a "Membership Ended" notification. If you tick Cancel immediately, the membership ends today whatever the policy or commitment says. No further charges are made. Cancel a membership

There are two different changes, and they behave differently. Moving a member to another **plan on the same membership**, for example monthly to yearly, keeps their subscription and adjusts the money. Moving them to a **different membership** does not: it stops their billing, and you start it again.

Use this when the membership has more than one price option, for example monthly and yearly, or a first-child and additional-child rate.

The member's subscription stays as it is and Stripe swaps the price on it, working out the difference for the rest of the current period. An upgrade normally takes a payment straight away for the balance, and a downgrade credits the unused time. Access is never interrupted.

Members can do this themselves. In the app they open **My Membership**, find **Change Billing Cycle** and tap **Switch to Monthly**, or whichever option they want. They are told Stripe will work out the difference for the rest of their cycle before they confirm.

Billing does not carry across. The switch starts no subscription on the new membership, so the member is left holding it with nothing charging them, and the page then describes it as a comp membership. This is the step people miss.

To start charging them again, click **Move onto paid billing** on the same page and choose a plan. See below for what that does.

Your memberships, each with its own plans

When the member changes membership in the app

This route behaves better than the dashboard one. The server keeps their existing subscription and swaps the price on it where it can, so access is never interrupted, the difference is worked out for the rest of the period, and any cancellation they had scheduled is lifted. When the change costs something, a payment sheet opens for it.

They then see "Membership changed", or "Membership being changed" if it has not appeared yet, which is normal for a few seconds.

A comp membership has no subscription behind it, so nothing is ever charged. To start billing it:

Nothing is charged on the day. The first payment is the full amount on the plan's billing day, or today if the plan has no set billing day. They keep the membership they already hold, so there is no gap in access and no second membership.

The modal warns you about two things before you can continue:

**Move onto paid billing** only works on the membership the member already holds. To put a comp member onto a different membership and charge them for it, switch the membership first, then move them onto paid billing.

There is no button that turns a paying member into a comp member.

**Assign Membership** only appears for a member who holds nothing. It grants a membership free of charge and sets up no billing.

If a member tells you they are paying for a membership they do not hold, do not change anything first. Check their **Payments** tab and their **Activity** tab, then contact Dyno support with the member's name: the money and the membership have to be put back together in the right order.

Move a member between plans and memberships, start billing a free member, and what gets charged when you do.

Members can do this themselves. In the app they open My Membership, find Change Billing Cycle and tap Switch to Monthly, or whichever option they want. They are told Stripe will work out the difference for the rest of their cycle before they confirm. Move a member to a different membership Open Members and click the member. Click Change Plan. Under Or switch membership, choose the membership. Click Confirm Change. What happens: Their subscription on the old membership is cancelled straight away. The part of the current period they had paid for and will not use is refunded to them, on the original payment. They are moved onto the new membership and keep access. Billing does not carry across. The switch starts no subscription on the new membership, so the member is left holding it with nothing charging them, and the page then describes it as a comp membership. This is the step people miss. To start charging them again, click Move onto paid billing on the same page and choose a plan. See below for what that does. Your memberships, each with its own plans The Memberships page listing four memberships with their status and monthly price When the member changes membership in the app The member opens your club and taps View other membership options on their membership screen, or opens the membership list. They choose the membership they want and confirm. This route behaves better than the dashboard one. They keep the membership they already hold, so there is no gap in access and no second membership. The modal warns you about two things before you can continue: No payment method on file. The first payment will fail until the member adds a card or bank account in the app. Otherwise it tells you which card or Direct Debit the money will come from. Awaiting Direct Debit transfer. A member still paying your previous provider will be charged twice if you start billing now. You have to tick a box to say you understand before Start billing is enabled. The safe answer is to leave it alone: they are moved onto billing for you once the transfer lands. Move onto paid billing only works on the membership the member already holds. To put a comp member onto a different membership and charge them for it, switch the membership first, then move them onto paid billing. Paid to free There is no button that turns a paying member into a comp member. To keep them on the same membership but stop charging, move them onto a plan priced at 0 on that membership, if the membership has one. Switching them to a different membership also leaves them unbilled, as described above. Cancelling is not the same thing: it ends the membership and their access. See Cancel a membership. Assign Membership only appears for a member who holds nothing. It grants a membership free of charge and sets up no billing. When a change is refused "You are already a member here on ..." The member tried to buy a second membership at a club that allows one each. Moving between memberships is a change, not a purchase, and the app sends them down the change route instead. Nothing is charged. "You still have this membership. It is set to end ..." They cancelled, then tried to buy the same membership again. There is nothing to buy: they keep it instead. The member taps Keep my membership on their cancellation screen, or you undo the cancellation from their member page, and their billing carries on unchanged with nothing charged that day. "A membership change is already in progress." One change is already running for that member, usually a double tap. Wait a moment and check their page rather than trying again. If a member tells you they are paying for a membership they do not hold, do not change anything first. Check their Payments tab and their Activity tab, then contact Dyno support with the member's name: the money and the membership have to be put back together in the right order. After any change Nothing about a change issues a refund except the switch between memberships described above, which returns the unused part of the period. To give anything else back, see Issue a refund. Existing bookings are not touched by a change. Remove them yourself if the new membership should not include them. Change a member's plan

A membership is what members join, for example "Adult" or "Junior". Each membership has one or more pricing plans, which set what members pay and how often. A member picks a plan when they join, so one membership can offer monthly and annual prices side by side.

Your club is the merchant of record: members pay your club through your own Stripe account. Dyno charges its published processing rate and no platform fee. [Connect Stripe](/articles/connect-stripe) before you sell paid plans.

You need at least one pricing plan. Without one, members cannot join.

**Commitment (periods)** stops members leaving early. If a member cancels before the commitment ends, the cancellation takes effect at the commitment end and they are billed until then. After that, the membership rolls on and cancels under the normal policy. Leave it blank for no commitment.

Under **Custom rules**, the **Minimum term (12 months)** button fills in a commitment of 12 billing periods. Check the number if your plan does not bill monthly.

These side panels apply to the whole membership, not a single plan.

There are two ways to let someone in for free.

Open the membership and click **Edit**. If you change a plan's price, new joiners pay the new price. Members already on the plan stay on the price they signed up at.

Family and age-based discounts are not set on the plan. Set them on the **Rules** tab of **Discounts**. For one-off offers, see [Promo codes](/articles/promo-codes) and [Discounts on invites](/articles/invite-discounts).

Set up a membership and its pricing plans: billing cadence, trials, signup fees, cancel policy and minimum terms.

A membership is what members join, for example "Adult" or "Junior". Each membership has one or more pricing plans, which set what members pay and how often. A member picks a plan when they join, so one membership can offer monthly and annual prices side by side. Your club is the merchant of record: members pay your club through your own Stripe account. Dyno charges its published processing rate and no platform fee. Connect Stripe before you sell paid plans. Create a membership Open Memberships in the sidebar and click New Membership. Under Basic Information, enter a Title. Add a Subtitle and Description if you want them on the membership card. Under Pricing, click Add Plan and fill in the plan (see below). Add more plans the same way. Under Features and Benefits, click Add Feature for each short line you want on the membership card in the app. Set the options in the side panels if you need them (see below). Click Create Membership. You need at least one pricing plan. Without one, members cannot join. Set up a pricing plan Each plan has these sections. Plan and billing Plan name: shown when a membership has several plans to pick from. It defaults to the billing period, such as "Monthly". Billing Type: Recurring or One-time. Period and Bill every (count): together these set the cadence. The count can be up to 90 for days, 52 for weeks, 12 for months and 5 for years. For example, choose Week and 4 to bill every 4 weeks, or Month and 3 to bill quarterly. Pricing Price: what members pay each billing cycle. Signup Fee: a one-time fee charged when someone signs up, on top of their first billing cycle. Leave it blank for none. Compare-at Price: an optional "was" price shown struck through beside the real price. It does not change what anyone is charged. Trials and policies Trial Period (days): free days before billing starts, up to 365. The member joins straight away and is charged when the trial ends. Cancel Policy: what happens when a member cancels. See the options below. The Cancel Policy options are: None (default: end of term) and End of term: the member keeps access until the end of the period they have paid for, then it ends. Anytime: the membership ends as soon as they cancel, with no refund. Notice days: the membership ends a set number of days after they cancel. Enter the number in Notice Days. A renewal that falls inside the notice period is charged as normal. Minimum commitment Commitment (periods) stops members leaving early. If a member cancels before the commitment ends, the cancellation takes effect at the commitment end and they are billed until then. After that, the membership rolls on and cancels under the normal policy. Leave it blank for no commitment. Under Custom rules, the Minimum term (12 months) button fills in a commitment of 12 billing periods. Check the number if your plan does not bill monthly. Billing day Billing anchor day: Signup anniversary bills each member from their join date. A fixed day, such as the 1st of the month, bills everyone on that day. Charge pro-rata for partial first period: only with a fixed day. Yes charges a part-period amount today and the full price from the billing day. No charges nothing until the billing day. Limits Max Billing Cycles: how many times the plan bills before it ends on its own. Leave it blank to bill until the member cancels. Active: inactive plans are hidden from anyone joining. Members already on the plan keep it and keep being billed. Membership options These side panels apply to the whole membership, not a single plan. Status: Active, Featured, and Sort Order (lower numbers appear first). Limits: Membership limit per user (0 for unlimited), and Limit bookings per cycle with a number and a Cycle of day, week, month or year. Age restriction: Minimum age and Maximum age, both inclusive. Leave both blank for no restriction. A parent buying for a child is judged on the child's age. Priority booking: Extra days ahead lets members on this membership book earlier than everyone else. It only works once you set a booking window in Settings. Door access: entry times and a Visit allowance per day or week. Tick Refuse entry over the allowance to turn members away rather than flag the visit. Group Access: shown when your club has groups. Holders can book sessions restricted to the groups you tick. Free memberships There are two ways to let someone in for free. A free plan: set the plan's Price to 0. Members join through the app as normal and are charged nothing. If they cancel, it ends straight away, whatever the cancel policy says. A comp membership: grant it to one person, either with Assign Membership on their member page or by ticking Grant this membership free on an invite. A comp membership has no subscription, so nothing is ever charged. It stays free until you use Move onto paid billing on the member's page. Changing a plan later Open the membership and click Edit. If you change a plan's price, new joiners pay the new price. Members already on the plan stay on the price they signed up at. Family and age-based discounts are not set on the plan. Set them on the Rules tab of Discounts. For one-off offers, see Promo codes and Discounts on invites.

Create a membership plan

Dyno has five ways to charge a member less than the plan price. Three you give to one person, two apply on their own to anyone who qualifies. A purchase only ever gets one of them, so it is worth knowing which one wins.

Discounts live on the **Discounts** page in the sidebar. If it is not there, your Dyno plan does not include it.

A member discount is a percentage. There is no fixed-amount option here. If you need to take a set amount off, use a promo code or a rule.

One rule per club. It prices a family's additional members automatically, on any membership at the club.

Use **Flat rate they pay** whenever your published offer is a price ("every extra child pays £20"). Using **Fixed amount off** for that only works while every membership costs the same.

Two adults are only one family once you link them.

Linking changes prices only, and only from their next sign-up: memberships they already hold keep the price they joined at. It grants no access, and linked members cannot see each other's accounts. It only changes anyone's price when the rule is set to **Whole family**.

Many per club, unlike the Family Discount.

It is applied when someone joins. Anyone already enrolled keeps the price they have, and nobody is re-priced on a birthday.

A purchase gets one discount. They never stack. Dyno works it out in this order:

Then, if the member types a promo code, the code is compared against whatever the steps above produced and the cheaper of the two over 12 months is applied. A tie goes to the promo code, because that is the one the member asked for.

That comparison is why a member can type a valid code and see no change: their automatic discount was already better, and they keep it.

An automatic discount carries no explanation on screen. The member sees a lower price and nothing telling them why, so say so when you set one up.

If you change your club's currency in **Settings** after setting up a fixed-amount or flat-rate rule, the rule stops working and members are quietly charged full price. The **Rules** tab flags it in the **Status** column. Save the rule again in the club's current currency to fix it.

Every way your club can give a member a lower price, which one wins when more than one applies, and what the member sees.

Dyno has five ways to charge a member less than the plan price. Three you give to one person, two apply on their own to anyone who qualifies. Age Discount: an automatic rule that discounts anyone inside an age band. The Rules tab. Give one member a lower price Open Discounts and stay on the Discounts tab. Click New Discount. Search for the member and click them. Add as many recipients as you want. Under Discount, enter Percent off, and a Signup fee override if you want one. Leave the override blank to use the plan's fee, or set it to 0 to waive it. Under Duration & Validity, choose Duration: Once, Repeating with a number of months, or Forever. Set Starts at and Expires at if the offer is time limited. Under Scope, restrict it to one Membership, or leave it on any membership in this club. Click the create button. A member discount is a percentage. There is no fixed-amount option here. If you need to take a set amount off, use a promo code or a rule. Set up the Family Discount One rule per club. It prices a family's additional members automatically, on any membership at the club. Open Discounts and choose the Rules tab. Click New Rule and choose the Family Discount preset. Choose Who counts as a family member: Children only counts just the children an adult pays for, so a parent who trains does not make their first child the second member. Whole family counts the adults too. Choose a Discount type: Percentage off, Fixed amount off, or Flat rate they pay. Enter the value. A flat rate is the price they pay whatever their membership normally costs, so a £20 rate charges £20 on a £30 membership and on a £35 one. Memberships already cheaper than the rate are left alone. Set Applies from child # or Applies from family member #. 2 means everyone after the first, 1 means everyone including the first. Save the rule. Use Flat rate they pay whenever your published offer is a price ("every extra child pays £20"). Using Fixed amount off for that only works while every membership costs the same. Who counts, and in what order Rank is fixed when someone enrols, and is set by the order people joined, not by age or membership. Only memberships someone signed up for count. A comp membership you granted never makes someone the first member. A member with a cancellation already scheduled stops counting. A Direct Debit membership counts from the moment it is set up, before the first collection settles, so a family signing two people up in one sitting still gets the rate on the second. Changing the rule never re-prices anyone. Everyone already enrolled keeps the price they joined at. Adults who are not a parent and child Two adults are only one family once you link them. Open Members and click one of them. In the Family panel, click Link an adult and choose the other. Linking changes prices only, and only from their next sign-up: memberships they already hold keep the price they joined at. It grants no access, and linked members cannot see each other's accounts. It only changes anyone's price when the rule is set to Whole family. Set up an Age Discount Many per club, unlike the Family Discount. Open Discounts, choose the Rules tab and click New Rule. Choose the Age Discount preset. Enter a Name. It is for your records, and members never see it. Set Minimum age, Maximum age, or both. At least one end is required. Choose Applies to: every membership at the club, or one. Choose a Discount type and enter the value, the same three options as the Family Discount. Tick the box to waive the joining fee as well, if you want to. Save the rule. It is applied when someone joins. Anyone already enrolled keeps the price they have, and nobody is re-priced on a birthday. Which discount wins A purchase gets one discount. They never stack. Dyno works it out in this order: The member's own discount, whether you assigned it or it came with their invite. If they have one, it is used. Your club's rules otherwise. If both the Family Discount and an Age Discount fit the same person, the one that costs the member less over 12 months is used. If they are worth the same, the Family Discount is used. A guardian's unused invite discount otherwise, when a parent is buying for a child who has no discount of their own. Then, if the member types a promo code, the code is compared against whatever the steps above produced and the cheaper of the two over 12 months is applied. A tie goes to the promo code, because that is the one the member asked for. That comparison is why a member can type a valid code and see no change: their automatic discount was already better, and they keep it. What the discount applies to The recurring price, every time it is charged, for as long as the discount lasts. The joining fee. A percentage discount comes off the signup fee too, and there is no way to keep the fee at full price while discounting the membership. Use a Signup fee override, or a joining-fee-only promo code, when you want to control the fee separately. What the member sees On the membership list in the app, the discounted price, with a percentage badge next to the membership when the offer is a percentage. On the confirm screen, the discounted price in Billing Summary, so the figure they agree to is the figure they pay. For a promo code only, a note saying when it ends: "Applies to your first payment." or "Applies for your first 3 months." An automatic discount carries no explanation on screen. The member sees a lower price and nothing telling them why, so say so when you set one up. What happens on renewal Once: the discount covers the first payment, then the price returns to normal. Repeating: it covers that many months from the start, then the price returns to normal. Forever, and every Family or Age Discount: it applies for as long as the member stays on that membership. If you change your club's currency in Settings after setting up a fixed-amount or flat-rate rule, the rule stops working and members are quietly charged full price. The Rules tab flags it in the Status column. Save the rule again in the club's current currency to fix it.

Discounts explained

When you invite someone with a membership, you can set the price they join on. This is how most clubs move existing members across without changing what they pay. You set the terms per person, so each child in a family can have their own rate.

Each discount applies to that person only. When the person joins in the app, they are charged the discounted price.

**Quick invite** only asks for an email address, so it has no discount fields. Use **Detailed invite**.

Use this for members who have already paid for the current period, in cash or with a previous provider.

The member pays nothing for the part-period when they join. Their first full payment lands on the plan's billing day, and they are billed as normal from then on.

If you offer the same deal repeatedly, such as a blue light or student rate, save it once and pick it by name on invites.

A saved discount restricted to one membership only appears on an invite when that membership is selected for the person. If you edit a saved discount, only invites sent after the change use the new terms. Anyone already invited keeps the terms they were offered.

Invite someone on an agreed price, give each child their own rate, and waive the first pro-rata charge for members moving over.

When you invite someone with a membership, you can set the price they join on. This is how most clubs move existing members across without changing what they pay. You set the terms per person, so each child in a family can have their own rate. For the basics of inviting, see Invite your first members. Add a discount to an invite Open Members and click Invite members. Choose Detailed invite. Enter the person's details and choose a membership. Under Discount, pick one from Use a saved discount, or leave it on Custom discount and set the terms (see below). Add any children. Each child has their own discount fields, or tick Grant this membership free for that child. Use the Same as button to copy another person's discount. Send the invite. In Send this invite?, check each person's terms, then click Send Invite. A custom discount has these fields: Percent off (1–100). Applies for: First payment only, First N months (then enter For how many months), or The life of the membership. Also waive the signup fee, if you want to. Each discount applies to that person only. When the person joins in the app, they are charged the discounted price. Quick invite only asks for an email address, so it has no discount fields. Use Detailed invite. Waive the first pro-rata charge Use this for members who have already paid for the current period, in cash or with a previous provider. In a detailed invite, choose a paid membership. Leave Grant this membership free unticked. Tick Waive pro-rata charge. The member pays nothing for the part-period when they join. Their first full payment lands on the plan's billing day, and they are billed as normal from then on. It only takes effect on plans that bill on a set day of the month. On a plan billed from each member's signup date, it does nothing. It applies only to the membership named on the invite, and only to their first subscription. It does not waive the signup fee. Use Also waive the signup fee for that. Save a discount you use often If you offer the same deal repeatedly, such as a blue light or student rate, save it once and pick it by name on invites. Open Discounts and choose the Saved discounts tab. Click New Saved Discount. Enter a Name. Only your staff see it. Enter Percent off, or leave it blank to only waive the joining fee. Choose Applies for, and tick Also waive the joining fee if you want to. Under Which membership, choose All memberships or one membership. Click Save discount. A saved discount restricted to one membership only appears on an invite when that membership is selected for the person. If you edit a saved discount, only invites sent after the change use the new terms. Anyone already invited keeps the terms they were offered. For a code anyone can use, see Promo codes.

Discounts on invites

When a member is injured, travelling or taking a break, you can pause their membership instead of cancelling it. Billing stops until the date you choose, then restarts on its own. The member keeps their membership throughout.

Staff pause memberships from the dashboard. Members cannot pause from the app.

If the pause is longer than your club's limit, Dyno asks you to tick a box to allow it anyway. The override is recorded against the pause.

On the restart date, billing resumes on the plan's normal billing day.

Dyno refuses a pause, and says why, when:

The limit is measured from the day the pause started, so extending a pause cannot get around it.

Stop a member's billing for a break and let it restart automatically on a date you choose.

When a member is injured, travelling or taking a break, you can pause their membership instead of cancelling it. Billing stops until the date you choose, then restarts on its own. The member keeps their membership throughout. Staff pause memberships from the dashboard. Members cannot pause from the app. Pause a membership Open Members and click the member. Click Pause Membership. Pick the date in Billing restarts on. It must be tomorrow or later. Read the summary. It shows how many days the pause lasts, how many booked classes will be released, and the new minimum term end date if the plan has one. Click Pause membership. If the pause is longer than your club's limit, Dyno asks you to tick a box to allow it anyway. The override is recorded against the pause. What happens while paused The member is not charged. The member cannot book classes. In the app they see "Membership paused" with the date it restarts. Classes they had booked during the pause are cancelled, so others on the waitlist can take the space. Time spent paused does not count towards a minimum commitment, so the commitment end moves back by the length of the pause. The member gets an email when the pause starts, and another 3 days before billing restarts. On the restart date, billing resumes on the plan's normal billing day. Change the end date or resume early To move the date, click Change Pause End, pick a new date and click Update pause. Extending a pause also releases any classes booked in the extra days. To bring the member back now, click Resume Membership, then Resume membership. Billing restarts on their normal billing day and they can book again straight away. They are not charged for the time they were paused. Classes released when the pause started are not restored. When you cannot pause Dyno refuses a pause, and says why, when: The membership is a comp membership or a free plan, so there is no billing to pause. A cancellation is already scheduled. Reverse the cancellation first. The member has a plan change in progress. A payment is still being retried or a failed payment is being chased. Settle it first. See Failed payments. Set your club's pause limit Open Settings. The General tab opens. Find the Membership pauses card. Enter a Maximum pause length (days), or leave it blank to use the default of 90 days. A promo code is a discount you publish rather than give to one person. You share the code, and anyone who has it types it in when they buy a membership in the Dyno app. Use it for an open day, a New Year campaign or anything printed.

Promo codes work on membership purchases only. The discount comes out of your club's price. Dyno takes no platform fee.

Promo codes are on the **Discounts** page. If **Discounts** is not in your sidebar, your Dyno plan does not include it.

You cannot change what a code gives once it exists, because members are quoted a price as soon as they type it in. To change the discount, turn the code off and create a new one.

Click a code on the **Promo codes** tab to open it. You can:

A purchase gets one discount. If the member also qualifies for another discount, such as a family discount, Dyno applies whichever costs the member less over 12 months.

Under The code, type a Code of 3 to 32 letters and numbers, or tick Generate a code for me. Under The discount, choose a Discount type and fill in its value (see below). For a percentage or amount, choose How long it lasts: First payment only, A set number of months, or For as long as they stay. Under Limits, set any limits you want (see below). Under Applies to, choose All memberships or one membership. Click Create code. The discount types are: Percentage off: enter Percent off, a whole number from 1 to 100. Fixed amount off: enter Amount off. Joining fee only: leave Joining fee blank to waive the signup fee, or enter an amount to charge instead. The regular price is unchanged. The limits are: Starts and Ends: leave blank to start now and never end. Total uses: leave blank for no limit. Each member can use a code once, whatever this is set to. New members only: only people who have never held a membership at your club. When a parent signs up a child, it is the child who has to be new. Manage a code Click a code on the Promo codes tab to open it. You can: Change Starts, Ends, Total uses and New members only. See who has used it under Who has used it. Click Turn off so nobody new can use it. Members who already have the discount keep it. Click Turn back on to reopen it. What the member sees In the app, the member chooses a membership and reaches the confirm screen. They tap Add promo code, type the code and tap Apply. The price updates to show the discount before they pay.
