Membership plans are the core of how most clubs charge on Dyno. A plan is a recurring or one-off product that grants a member access for a defined period.

You can attach features to a plan — class credits, facility access tiers, or staff-only perks. Members on that plan automatically get the included features without needing to buy them separately.

You can create as many plans as you need — there is no per-plan fee. Common patterns are Adult / Junior / Family, or Standard / Premium tiers.

Create a membership plan

You can cancel a recurring membership from the member’s profile. Dyno gives you two options: cancel immediately (the member loses access right away) or cancel at the end of the current billing period (the member keeps access until the date they have already paid for).

Open the member’s profile → Subscriptions → click the active subscription → Cancel at period end. The member keeps access until the next billing date, and Stripe stops trying to renew them. This is the polite default and avoids refund requests.

Use this when you need to revoke access right away — e.g. after a code-of-conduct breach. From the same screen, choose Cancel now. You can optionally issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the period.

Cancelling immediately removes the member from any classes or events they have booked into for that subscription. Members are notified by email automatically.
