Connect your Stripe account

Link Stripe Connect so payments flow straight from members into your bank account.

Dyno uses Stripe Connect to process every payment. Money flows directly from your members into the Stripe account you connect — Dyno never holds your funds. You need a verified Stripe account before you can sell memberships, take event bookings, or accept passes.

Open the Stripe Connect flow

From your dashboard, go to Settings → Payments and click Connect Stripe. You will be sent to Stripe to either create a new account or link an existing one.

What Stripe will ask for

  • Business type (sole trader, partnership, limited company, or charity)
  • Bank account details for payouts
  • A verified business email and phone number
  • Identity verification (passport or driving licence) for the account owner

After you finish onboarding

You return to your Dyno dashboard with a green "Connected" badge under Settings → Payments. Stripe may still flag your account as Pending while it verifies your details — you can usually start taking payments straight away, but payouts hold until verification clears.

Troubleshooting

  • Stuck on identity verification — upload a clearer photo of your ID, or try a different document type.
  • "Restricted" badge on your Stripe dashboard — open the link Stripe provides and complete the requested information.
  • Already use Stripe elsewhere — you can connect the same account; Dyno only creates Connect-scoped subscriptions on it.
