A facility is a court, room, pitch or other space that members book for a slot of time in the Dyno app. You set the slot length, the hours it can be booked and whether members need a membership to book it.

Create a facility

  1. Open Facilities and click New Facility.
  2. Under Basic Information, enter a Name. Optionally add a Facility Image, a Description and Amenities (type each one and press Enter).
  3. Under Booking Settings, switch on Enable online booking.
  4. Set the Session Duration (minutes). This is the length of each bookable slot.
  5. Set the Buffer Time (minutes) to leave a gap between bookings, for example for cleaning.
  6. Set Max Advance Booking (days) for how far ahead members can book, and Min Advance Booking (hours) for the least notice you need.
  7. Under Availability, set the hours members can book on each day.
  8. In the Status panel, leave Active (visible and bookable) switched on. Optionally set a Capacity and a Sort Order (lower numbers appear first).
  9. Set Membership Restrictions if you need them. See below.
  10. Click Create Facility.

The facility now appears on your club page in the Dyno app. Switch off Active (visible and bookable) to hide it without deleting it.

On the Facilities page you can switch between the grid view and a Timetable view of bookings.

Limit a facility to members

  1. In Membership Restrictions, switch on Require membership to book.
  2. Under Allowed Memberships, tick the memberships that can book.

If you tick none, anyone holding any membership at your club can book. A member whose membership is paused cannot book a members-only facility.

If Require membership to book is off, anyone who can see your club in the app can book the facility.

How members book

  1. In the Dyno app, the member opens your club and finds Facilities.
  2. They tap a facility.
  3. Under Book a Time Slot, they choose a free slot.
  4. They tap Book Now.

A member with children on their account is asked Who is this court for? and can pick Myself or a family member. The booking is in that person's name.

If the facility needs a membership they do not have, they see Membership Required and can tap View Memberships to join.

To cancel, the member opens their booking and taps Cancel Booking.
